A couple of seconds...

Ok, so I have to make this quick because I only have a couple of seconds (well, minutes really). Just wanted to say two things:

1- Congrats to Luma!!!! (see two posts ago) They won the contest they were participating (surprised? I think not) and now they get to come to the US to play at a festival. They will be in New York on August 6th!!! Thanks to everyone who voted for Luma, and if you're in the Buffalo, NY area around August 6th, you should stop in at the festival and support your new favorite band! ;-) Congrats guys!

2-Radiohead is amazing, especially live....words cannot describe.

Aaron Held His Peace

So, God is always so good at reminding me how much I need Him. It hurts, like the kind of hurt you can feel with your whole body, but it's a good hurt. I love the song called Aaron Held His Peace by the band Anathallo. I can't stop listening to it today, so I thought I'd post the lyrics, and at least share some of its goodness with you all. If you are interested, Anathallo is a great band, and they just released a cd yesterday called Floating Worlds. Check it out.

Aaron Held His Peace by Anathallo

Aaron held his peace,
so may I (Leviticus 10:3).
Please don't think that I'm overcoming great obstacles
of disinclination (James 1:2). If you only knew.
If I only knew like I wanted to.
Though the melody seems tainted,
it's the words that carry the hope (Psalm 119:105).
Because I walked into the room and laid my head
on the hands in which I find
inscribed the letters of my name (Isaiah 49:16).
There's a certain tension in longing.
One that paralyzes fear.
One that finds hope in the promises,
and in brokenness is complete.

oh, and I don't really feel like explaining what's going on with me (don't worry, it's no big deal, hence the reason for not explaining), sorry, but as always, your prayer is much appreciated. I love you all. Ciao
